Responsibilities
- Lead antibody discovery project for neuroscience disease
- Establish cellular disease models of neurodegeneration to develop assays for hit validation.
- Support and optimize iPSC platform and brain cell models to support drug discovery and early development.
- Work effectively and closely with cross-discipline teams across multiple fields.
- Contribute to strategy in neuroscience focusing on neurodegenerative disease.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and review study reports and contribute to scientific manuscripts, patents, and documents for regulatory submission (e.g., INDs, etc.).
- Lead external collaborations with industry and academic groups.
Qualifications
- Master or Ph.D. with expertise in multiple neuroscience areas, including but not limited to HD, ALS, FTD, and CMT.
- 3-5 years in academic and/or industry settings is desirable.
- Deep knowledge of neurodegenerative disease models. Experience with in vivo behavioral assessments is a plus.
- Experience with antibody discovery, have a whole picture of mAb and BsAb discovery
- Experience with iPSC culture, neuronal differentiation and culture, confocal microscopy/high-content imaging, and MEA will be a plus.
- Proven track record of research productivity, innovation, and teamwork/collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment as a team player with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
