Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for recombinant protein production and analysis to support antibody discovery projects, platform upgrade, and technical innovation.
2. Be competent for routine laboratory work, including but not limited to protein expression with mammalian and prokaryotic systems, protein purification with multiple chromatographic methods, and multidimensional analysis of protein biophysical properties.
3. Actively participate in optimizing purification process of bispecific antibody and ADC, enriching the toolbox of protein analysis, and developing new protein expression systems.
4. Ensure compliance with EHS standards and keep the laboratory notebook up to date.
5. Other affairs assigned by the line manager and department head.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in biology, Medicine, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical-related field is required.
2. 1-2 years of industry experience commensurate with job title is preferred.
3. Hands-on experiences in protein purification process development and optimization is required.
4. Hands-on experiences in analysis of protein biophysical properties is required, such as HPLC/UPLC, CE, cIEF, MS, or etc.
5. Experience in cell line development or engineering is preferred.
6. Experience in cell-free, prokaryotic, baculovirus, yeast, or plant expression systems is preferred.
7. Familiar with the standards of CMC analytical control is preferred.
8. Good planning and execution skills to meet deadlines and to handle multi tasks.
9. Quick learner and good team player.
10. Strong problem-solving skills.
