Responsibilities
1. Lead integrated discovery project and project team for antibody drug early discovery.
2. Take charge of background searching, project proposal/ study plan generation, direct communication
with collaborators or clients, and progress monitoring and report of on-going projects.
3. Develop the major strategy and detailed plans for therapeutic antibody generation. Work with scientists in the team for development, optimization and troubleshooting of biology assays, including protein and cell-based assays and other function assays to assess the potency and specificity of antibody leads.
4. Analyze and interpretate experimental data and generate reports and set up regular project meetings
with internal/external collaborators.
5. Work across functions (Project Team leads, Protein Science, In Vivo study, etc.) to drive projects
forward.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1. PhD in cell/molecular biology or immunology and >3 years of relevant experience in an industry
setting or MS in the same field with > 6 years of industrial experience.
2. Technical expertise in cell and molecular biology and/or cancer biology/ or immunology, and
experience in bispecific antibody and ADC discovery is a plus.
3. Excellent laboratory, record-keeping, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
4. Ability to plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments. Experience with primary cell based assays
is a plus.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and to work successfully in a cross-functional
and highly collaborative team environment.
6. Experience in discovery or non-clinical development involving targeted biologics such as
therapeutic antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and/or bispecific therapeutics is highly desired.
7. The ability of fluent in English communication is desired.
