Nona Biosciences is seeking a strategic, experienced, and bilingual (Associate) Director of Regional Marketing to lead the positioning, go-to-market strategy, and commercialization support for Nona’s proprietary technology platforms in China.
This individual will oversee Nona’s marketing operations within China, driving strategy and execution across digital, content, and event marketing to ensure consistent brand representation and alignment with global initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies ensuring differentiation and commercial potential of Nona’s technology platforms in China.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive China marketing strategy that integrates digital, content, and event initiatives.
- Lead management of Nona’s sponsorship activities in industry events, conferences, and partner programs, ensuring strong brand visibility and ROI measurement.
- Oversee digital campaigns and content localization across major Chinese platforms (e.g., WeChat), ensuring consistency with global branding and messaging.
- Adapt global marketing materials for local audiences, ensuring scientific accuracy, regulatory appropriateness, and cultural relevance.
- Partner with Business Development, R&D, and Global Marketing teams to produce bilingual collateral, partnership materials, and lead-generation assets that align with corporate objectives.
- Supervise and mentor the China marketing members, ensuring operational efficiency, high-quality execution, and professional development.
- Manage vendor relationships, agency collaborations, and regional marketing budgets to ensure on-time, cost-effective project delivery.
- Measure and reporting marketing performance, including campaign analytics, event ROI, and lead conversion, while identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with the Content Marketing team to develop regional storytelling assets, case studies, and white papers that communicate platform strengths.
- Contribute to strategic communications, publications, and cross-regional initiatives that elevate Nona’s profile in the biotechnology industry.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or other related scientific/technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical marketing with China experience
- Experienced in digital channels (WeChat, Baidu) and event execution.
- Strong bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, is required
- Strong communication, project management, and technical skills
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and work in a fast-paced environment.
