Senior Manager – Associate Director, Operations & PM

Responsibilities

Committee leadership (organizing STEC and weekly PL meetings, plus driving action items), and advanced executive support to optimize Nona Bio senior executive’s daily efficiency and complex scheduling, and assist the Sr. executive to optimize the efficiency of the IBU team.

1. Engage cross-functional and interdisciplinary project teams to develop integrated project strategies and plans including scope, timeline, milestones, budget and other resource requirements;

2. Monitor and track deliverables across all projects against approved resources to enable decisions on prioritization and allocation of resources, ensuring initiatives hit their timelines and budgets;

3. Organize project meetings and discussions, deliver meeting minutes, progress reports, promote collaboration, cooperation and communication across functions and project teams to drive streamlined project execution;

4. Committee leadership, including organize STEC and weekly PL meetings, and assisting the STEC chair to set agenda items, plus driving action items;

5. Identify and anticipate issues and develop contingency plans, provide options or recommendations for timely resolution, and generate ways to accelerate execution while maintaining high quality standards;

6. Drive the implementation and continuous optimization of integrated portfolio management processes to ensure cross-functional alignment, organizational support, operational efficiency and portfolio success;

7. Advanced executive support:

  • Proactively manages the calendar for executive business partners, anticipating and responding to changes.
  • Gathers information and pre-meeting materials from relevant sources to prepare executive business partners.

Qualifications

1. A master’s degree or Ph.D. in life-science field preferred with at least 8 years of drug R&D experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company;

2. A broad and in-depth understanding of drug R&D processes with at least 3 years in a project management role with a proven track record;

3. Self-motivated and ability to collaborate with internal and external contacts to ensure success of the research projects

4. Strong influencing and strategic thinking skills will be critical. Personal impact, reliability, exceptional presentation skills and a proactive attitude with the ability to work within a team environment will be essential factors to succeed in this position.
