Responsibilities:
- Lead overall strategy and capability development of the XDC technology platform (including ADC, DAC, AOC, APC and other modalities).
- Develop long-term technical roadmap and commercialization strategy for the XDC platform, enabling both external project intake and enhancing competitiveness.
- Leverage both organic growth and technology licensing, strategic partnerships, M&A to rapidly build and extend platform capabilities; evaluate external XDC related technologies and provide strategic recommendations to the senior management team to either form potential partnership and/or acquisition.
- Build, develop and lead the XDC technical team, including defining talent strategy, organizational structure, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and sustainable growth.
- Collaborate closely with BD, other business units, and external partners to align the technology platform with overall company business goals, driving to achieve project milestones and value realization.
- Establish cross-functional collaboration mechanisms, coordinate internal and external resources, and promote the application and industrialization of the XDC platform to build XDC pipelines at Nona Bio’s partners.
Requirements:
- PhD’s degree in biomedical research, cancer biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related fields.
- Over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO companies, with operational or technical management experience in ADC, DAC, AOC, or other XDC-related areas.
- Excellent understanding of the XDC technology landscape and trend and competitive landscape; with experience in external collaboration or technology evaluation preferred.
- Very familiar with leading targets, target expression databases, such as those with gene expression in tumor samples and normal tissues.
- Have lead projects or built pipeline with XDC assets advanced to IND or clinical development, with the ability to independently drive the full XDC drug discovery from project initiation, XDC molecule selection and optimization, and IND enabling studies.
- Strong business acumen and platform operation expertise, with deep understanding of the full drug discovery lifecycle, as well as ROI, cost structure of technology platforms.
- Proven experience in building technology platforms, team formation, or M&A integration is preferred; strong strategic planning and resource integration capability, with the ability to think from an enterprise-wide perspective.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and execution skills; able to recruit, develop and lead team to achieve breakthroughs in fast-changing environments.
