Senior Scientist – Principal Scientist, Immunology

We are seeking an accomplished and innovative Senior/Principal Scientist to lead antibody discovery efforts with a strong emphasis on immunology. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in immune biology, antibody engineering, and discovery platforms, along with a proven ability to drive programs from concept through lead identification. This role will play a key part in shaping scientific strategy, advancing pipeline programs, and mentoring junior scientists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead antibody discovery programs focused on immunology-driven therapeutic targets, from early concept to candidate selection.
  • Design and execute strategies for antibody generation, screening, optimization, and characterization.
  • Apply deep immunology expertise to guide target selection, mechanism-of-action studies, and translational relevance.
  • Oversee in vitro assays, binding and functional studies, and cell-based immunology assays to evaluate antibody candidates.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including protein sciences, in vivo pharmacology, bioinformatics, and therapeutic development.
  • Provide scientific leadership by developing innovative approaches, troubleshooting complex challenges, and integrating emerging technologies.
  • Communicate program progress, data insights, and strategic recommendations to leadership and project teams.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline, with 5+ years of relevant industry or postdoctoral experience.
  • Deep expertise in immunology, including immune cell biology, signaling pathways, and disease mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving antibody discovery programs and delivering high-quality therapeutic leads.
  • Proficiency in designing and interpreting binding assays, functional cell-based assays, and mechanistic immunology studies.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to manage scientists and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and scientific presentation skills.
